1. Service Description

Don't Steal My Artwork ("the Service") provides pixel-level watermark embedding for digital images. The Service alters image pixel data using a user-provided secret key to create a publishable version that differs from the original at the pixel level. The Service also provides ownership verification and pattern extraction tools.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. User Responsibilities

• You must own or have the legal right to watermark any image you upload.
• You are solely responsible for remembering your secret key and maintaining backups of your original files. We cannot recover lost keys or originals.
• You must not use the Service to process illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
• You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits, forge credits, or exploit the Service.
• You must not use automated tools to access the Service without permission.

4. Credits and Payments

• New accounts receive 3 free credits.
• Additional credits are available in packs of 25 for $5.00 USD via PayPal.
• Credits do not expire.
• Verification and pattern extraction are always free.
• All purchases are final. Due to the digital nature of the Service (credits are consumed immediately upon use), refunds are not available for used credits. If you experience a technical issue preventing credit use, contact us for resolution.
• Credits are tied to your browser's local storage token. If you clear your browser data, you may lose access to your remaining credits. We are not responsible for credits lost due to cleared browser data.

5. Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of all images you upload and all watermarked outputs.
• We claim no ownership, license, or rights over your images or artwork.
• The watermark embedding algorithm and the Service software are our intellectual property.

6. Limitations and Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the watermark will be undetectable, unremovable, or sufficient for any legal proceeding. The Service provides a tool for pixel-level image differentiation — it is not legal advice or a legal service.
• We do not guarantee the ownership verification results will be accepted by any court, platform, or third party.
• We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from use of the Service.
• We are not responsible for images lost due to temporary file cleanup, server issues, or browser data clearing. Always download your protected images immediately and maintain your own backups.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Upload images containing illegal content.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe on the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the watermark algorithm.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms. Unused credits are not refundable upon termination for terms violations.

9. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the Service operator.
